A little anti-climatic of a travel day, just another 0400 morning departing from Manzini Eswatini, border cross into South Africa, departure from Jburg Airport with a layover in Addis Ababa Ethiopia before our small plane to Kigali Rwanda.

UNDOCUMENTED CONTENT:

I will say once we landed on the ground in Kigali it became a little more interesting. Right away we were questioned hard at customs. Side note we landed at 0100.... yup. Once getting through customs though, we were immediately passed through a Covid testing site, where each of us had to get another covid test (one rapid, and one PCR). To clarify, we already had been tested in Eswatini before leaving, so this would be test two and three. After passing through we went to the hostel which was an actual disaster. They sold half of our beds to other guests, so a good portion of us had to share twin beds. (Shoutout Steph!) We stayed two nights (due to quarantine rules) before we departed.... NOT ALL SQUAD MONTH! Sure enough each team is with a new ministry these next two months in Rwanda. Yes two months!! We get to have two months to really dig our feet into what is happening here at HopeRwanda.
