Here I am, sitting in a new country, yet I have the space and the time to reflect on the past month while I edit this video. What an absolute GIFT!

This time, during the editing process, I rebounded through a lot of different questions that I haven’t had before.

Questions like : Am I accurately showcasing myself? Am I chasing views / followers? Is this portraying God? Am I more focused on the edit rather than being present? Is this really a form of ministry?

SO MANY QUESTIONS, but honestly a lot of them were quick thoughts that ran by. One remained, so here’s my little caveat to these blogs.

My goal is to always portray The World Race and myself accurately; which includes raw footage from time to time and content from other squad members to allow for alternative angles. This life as a missionary is so fun, but it is also difficult. The times that I cannot display accurately are those that relate to the spiritual heaviness; and the weight that has unfolded throughout these last couple of months. The constant reset and fight for true sabbath, and the fight to choose our relationship with one another. Saying yes, and buying in to those that are HERE and those that are fighting alongside of me. Those are the moments that aren’t featured on the recap, however those are the moments that matter the most to me… because that is where the change within me happens.

SO without further ado… welcome to the Nicaragua Recap! We did a TON this past month, and I did my best to include all areas. Welcome to LSquads month.
