Drum ROLL!

But seriously, because we just found out, and we are leaving August 6th.

Let the word of BE FLEXIBLE come to fullness. (Yes the word I heard from the Lord in regards to this year was flexible… more later.)

So without further ado… our first country is Costa Rica!

I have had quite a few friends of mine go to this country and surf, explore the beaches, and zip-line. The stories of the countries beauty goes on and on, and I am beyond excited to check out whatever it is I can. (#adventureseeker)

Outside the hot spot touristy towns though, there are immense pockets of poverty and broken families throughout. With the transitions of self-sufficient farming, to what is now a more urban way of living. “Consumer-oriented world”.

From what I have read our ministry will consist of community outreaches and children’s ministry opportunities, but of course this returns back to being flexible.

Here we go. Officially Official.

In the realm of fundraising; I do want to update each of you.

I am currently at $13,400 ; seriously GO GOD! Technically $13,000 is the goal they wanted us to be at in September to remain on track, but I think God has other plans. ESPECIALLY when it comes to the 100% in 100days… which is JULY 9th!!

Each of you are so incredible for donating and partnering with me in. Some of you endured a Cycling Fundraiser, and others helped indulge in pancakes for the Pancake Brunch. It has been an incredible process to see and hear the support from each of you. An honor, and honestly not something I take lightly or for granted. Individually you are believing in me as a vessel for His Kingdom, His Great Commission across the nations, the seeds amongst a vast variety of regions.

So thank you, again and again. You each are igniting my fire more than you recognize.

xoxo

p.s. there are a lot of emotional things that I want to unpack, updates on our squad (LADIES ONLY), leaving my job, moving out, minimizing, but in this blog I do want to keep things light for the time. Just continue to hold on with me, it is going to be a ride… a vulnerable & laugh filled ride.

  1. “You each are igniting my fire more than you recognize.” So true! 10 years ago January 2011 our son went on the race. Through his blogs and those of his teammates, my eyes were opened to challenges people face in each of the countries in which he ministered. Our lives were forever changed, and here we are 10 years later getting to be a support to others God has called to minister to the nations! YOUR BLOGS ARE IGNIGHTING A FIRE MORE THAT ANY OF US REALIZE!
