Hey! My name is Dana, nice to meet you... glad you are here :)

I am so incredibly honored that I have been given the opportunity to step out into the most radical thing God has called me to do... THE WORLD RACE.

But who am I? Who's this Dana Salesman girl haha?

Figured I could rapid fire some of my favorite facts to start!

1. I grew up on HP and Frosted Flakes cereal in Northern Michigan... which helped fuel my first love, basketball. I played all throughout high school and one year into college.

2. I have two bachelors degrees, Community Health from George Mason University in VA, and Nursing from Roseman University in UT.

3. It wasn't until November of 2016 when I whole heartedly gave my life to the Lord, and initially I had no idea what I had just done. Reflecting back, it has been single handedly the best decision of my entire life. My life has been completely flipped upside down, and at times is unrecognizable to where I once was...but it has been beautiful. I cannot image any moment without Him.

4. I absolutely love taking spontaneous trips by myself or starting some sort of new hobby. Right now the hobby of choice is bouldering/rock climbing.

5. I currently am working as a Pediatric Cardiology ICU RN in Salt Lake City, Utah and I absolutely LOVE IT. I was blessed to have received my dream job right out of the gates of nursing school.... (so why would I leave? Haha.. patience I'll tell the story).

6. Proudly. I am an 8w7. I wasn't always proud of it, but over time I have learned to embrace it!

7. I have the HARDEST time reading one book at a time. Typically, I will be reading at least 3 to 4 books... self help, old literature, devotionals, and scripture.

8. My obsession with golden retrievers is absolutely absurd. When I first moved to Utah, I can say that I FaceTimed my mom more to see my dog than to see her... but I really have no shame about it LOL.

9. I love writing or journaling! It is so beautiful to read through an old journal after I have filled all the pages, because God's hand is so evident! It is fun to read times where I wrestled, lamented, prayed, and declared so much. I would have forgotten all of those things if I had not written them down. There have been time and time again where I will be writing something and space out... then all of a sudden I will look down and there it is, a letter from God to me.

10. Hot topic... but I think that the real name for coffee is actually Jesus' Nectar.

Well that's all for now friends... click subscribe so you can join along on this adventure!

Let's have some fun for the Lord!

xoxo
